As an MA/LPN/RN, you will be responsible for assisting the Physician, PA, or NP in the medical care of all patients. This is an all encompassing fast paced position that includes triaging patients, obtaining vital signs, giving complete and accurate histories to the provider, administering medications and injections, administrering vaccines, wound cleaning and care, lab specimen collection, instrument sterilization, IV insertion, performing rapid tests, and calling patients to communicate lab results.
Additionally, you will be responsible for handling occupational medicine appointments that include tasks such as; drug screening, pre-employment/sports/school physicals, checking medications out of the pharmacy, and occasionally handling faxes and emails.
The ideal candidate will have MA certification or a Hawaii LPN/RN license in good standing and medical office experience. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, computer/EHR proficiency, be technologically saavy, ability to multitask, maintain an organized clinical workflow and work very well in a team environment. As a Front Desk Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting medical care for all patients that come into the clinic, you are the first person a patient sees and communicates with and the first impression of our clinics. Your job duties include greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and maintaining a friendly, positive and helpful demeanor at all times. You will also be responsible for responding to emails, checking voicemails, and ensuring the clinic is cleaned and maintained according to schedule.
